Newcomers Ministry

Welcome one another, just as Christ has welcomed you, to the Glory of God. - Romans 15:7

As part of our mission to be Christ’s heart and hands, we strive to make visitors and newcomers feel at home in our parish.  Three groups are active in this welcome ministry.

Greeters

Greeters are present at the door at Sunday services to welcome you and help you find your way around, provide you with a name tag and get contact information if you desire to know more about us.

Visitation teams

Visitation teams will meet with you, at your convenience and with your permission, to bring you a folder on information that explains the various activities and ministries in which you can participate as well as to answer any questions you may have about our parish and the Episcopal Church.

Companions

Companions are parishioners who will help you integrate into the life of the parish by being aides and helpers in the first few weeks. Our goal is to make all feel welcome and included. Let us know what we can do to make you feel more at home.
