Stephen Ministry

Picture
St. Francis in the Valley is proud to be a Stephen Ministry church.

Stephen Ministry is a Lay Ministry Program of Care for Hurting People. It is a one to one ministry that equips and empowers lay caregivers…called Stephen Ministers…to provide high quality, confidential, compassionate, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

Stephen Ministers are often referred to as "after people" as they are there for people after the tough times begin, and one enters into the loss, disappointment, fear, trepidation, confusion, and frustration.

They are ready to come alongside you or your friends, neighbors, coworkers, or relatives and provide comfort and support for as long as you need.
