Social activities are important in our parish life, providing informal opportunities for us to bond our relationships through relaxed, communal, and charitable events. Social activities help generate a sense of belonging and connectedness with the wider congregation.  It provides opportunities for people who might not otherwise meet each other in a committee or organization to mix with one another.

It’s no accident that so many of our activities involve the sharing of a meal.  Food is nourishing and eating together helps us to feel like family where bonds of friendship are strengthened, and strangers become strangers no more.  Fellowships help build and strengthen relationships and create a fun atmosphere conducive to inviting guests.

Members of the Social Activities team (SAT) enjoy planning fun things for our parishioners and their guests to attend throughout the year.  From our Lenten Suppers to our Christmas Card Party for the Covenant Fund in December, we have everyone laughing, dancing, reminiscing and eating, of course. After the fellowship we evaluate with our team what went right and what improvements need to be made. Trying to build on our success for the next great creative fellowship!  Our two worship services get to know each other during these social events. Therefore, we strive to make every time a time to remember. Our team is always open to new members.
